The City of Salem will be upgrading the intersection of 25th St and Madrona Ave and constructing a new street extension from 22nd St to Madrona adjacent to Plant 7

Preparatory work is already in progress, resulting in periodic delays along 25th St. and Madrona Ave. The intersection will be officially closed beginning June 1st, 2016, and will remain closed until late October. During this time all traffic will need to follow alternate routes to Plants 6, 7, and 8, as well as the Corporate Office, Lineage and Henningsen Cold Storages. Recommended routes are as follows: Plant 6, Plant 7, Plant 8 Warehouse, and Henningsen Cold Storage: Trucks should use the Kuebler exit off I-5, turn east on Kuebler and then left at the 36th St intersection. Follow Fairview Industrial Dr. to Madrona, turn right on to Madrona to the plant areas. Plant 8 and Lineage Cold Storage: Trucks should take the Lancaster Dr. exit off of HWY 22, travel south to Keubler Blvd, south to Turner Rd, then west to Airway Dr SE. Turn left onto Airway Drive and enter the plant area via Ewald St. An alternate route is to exit HWY 22 at Turner Rd, travel south, and turn right onto Airway Dr. Corporate Office: There will be a temporary access road around the intersection construction, running through the airport area. Personal vehicles only (no trucks) may use this route. Enter the Plant 8 and corporate area via the 25th St. Bridge.
