Preparation

STOVETOP:

VEGETABLE GUMBO
●Melt 3 Tbsp. butter in 2 quart saucepan.
●Stir in 1 can (14.5 oz.) vegetable broth and 1 can (16 oz.) diced tomatoes.
●Add 16 oz. WESTPAC® Gumbo Mix, ½ tsp. salt, ¼ tsp. black pepper, ¼ tsp. onion powder, ½ tsp. cumin, ½ tsp. chili powder, ½ tsp. whole thyme and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
●Bring to a boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Serving Suggestions

For a southern style side dish, sauté vegetables in butter and season with celery powder, onion powder, garlic and a pinch of cayenne.
