Santiam Pumpkin Pie

Prepared with our Santiam® Golden Pumpkin

Ingredients

1 canSantiam® Fancy Golden Pumpkin
4 ea.Eggs, lightly beaten
1 ½ cupsWhite sugar
2 (12-oz.)cansEvaporated milk
1 tsp.Salt
2 tsp.Cinnamon, ground
1 tsp.Ginger, ground
¼ tsp.Cloves, ground
½ tsp.Nutmeg or allspice, ground

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices.
  3. Blend in beaten eggs and milk.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shells.
  5. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Yield:2 9-inch pies
