Cider Glazed Chicken and Vegetables

Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Quick ’n Easy Combos® Yellow Carrot Stir Fry

Ingredients

2 tsp.Vegetable oil
4 ea.Chicken breasts, boneless
To tasteSalt & pepper
1 cupApple cider or juice
2 Tbsp.Butter, melted
1 Tbsp.Brown sugar
1 Tbsp.Cornstarch
2 tsp.Dijon-style mustard
16 oz.FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Yellow Carrot Stir Fry

Directions

  1. In large skillet, heat oil over high heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook 3 minutes per side.
  3. In small jar combine cider, butter, brown sugar, cornstarch, and mustard. Shake to blend. Add to pan and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
  4. Add vegetables and cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring gently halfway through cooking time. Season and serve. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
