Sweet and Sour Chicken with Broccoli
Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Quick ’n Easy Combos® Broccoli Normandy
Ingredients
| 1 Tbsp. | Vegetable oil |
| 8 oz. | Chicken, boneless, skinless, cut into 1" strips |
| ¾ tsp. | Garlic, minced |
| ¾ tsp. | Ginger, minced |
| 16 oz. | FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Broccoli Normandy |
| ½ cup | Red bell pepper, cut into strips |
| ½ cup | Sweet and sour sauce or glaze |
| 1 Tbsp. | Basil, chopped fresh |
| 2 cups | Steamed rice |
Directions
- Heat oil in large non-stick skillet on medium-high. Cook chicken, garlic and ginger for 4-5 minutes, while stirring, until no longer pink.
- Add vegetables, red pepper and sweet and sour sauce. Cook covered for 5-7 minutes or until vegetbles are hot, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle with basil, toss and serve over steamed rice. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
