Sweet and Sour Chicken with Broccoli

Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Quick ’n Easy Combos® Broccoli Normandy

Ingredients

1 Tbsp.Vegetable oil
8 oz.Chicken, boneless, skinless, cut into 1" strips
¾ tsp.Garlic, minced
¾ tsp.Ginger, minced
16 oz.FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Broccoli Normandy
½ cupRed bell pepper, cut into strips
½ cupSweet and sour sauce or glaze
1 Tbsp.Basil, chopped fresh
2 cupsSteamed rice

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large non-stick skillet on medium-high. Cook chicken, garlic and ginger for 4-5 minutes, while stirring, until no longer pink.
  2. Add vegetables, red pepper and sweet and sour sauce. Cook covered for 5-7 minutes or until vegetbles are hot, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sprinkle with basil, toss and serve over steamed rice. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
