Oriental Vegetables & Beef Stir Fry

Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Quick ’n Easy Combos® Oriental Vegetables

Ingredients

¾ lb.Beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
1 cloveGarlic, minced
16 oz.FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Oriental Vegetables
1 cupBeef broth
2 Tbsp.Soy sauce
1 ½ Tbsp.Cornstarch
1 Tbsp.Cooking sherry
¼ tsp.Ginger, ground
½ tsp.Sugar

Directions

  1. Heat an oiled wok or fry pan to medium-high. Add steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes or until no longer pink.
  2. Add garlic and frozen vegetables and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, sherry, ginger, sugar and cornstarch.
  4. Add sauce to vegetables and beef stirring constantly until sauce thickens; about 3 minutes.
  5. Serve over hot rice or noodles. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
