Busy Day Burritos

Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Meal Basic™ Southwest Blend

Ingredients

2 Tbsp.Vegetable oil
14 oz.Southwest blend
1 lb.Diced boneless, skinless chicken, uncooked
¼ cupWater
2 tsp.Mesquite seasonings
4 (10 inch)Tortillas
1 cupMonterey jack or cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan and oil over medium-high heat. Add southwest blend and chicken to skillet. Sauté until chicken is no longer pink (about 4 minutes).
  2. Stir in water and seasonings. Continue stirring and cooking 3 to 4 minutes until chicken begins to brown.
  3. For each serving, portion about ¾ cup chicken mixture, and ¼ of cheese into center of tortilla and roll up. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
