Busy Day Burritos
Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Meal Basic™ Southwest Blend
Ingredients
| 2 Tbsp. | Vegetable oil |
| 14 oz. | Southwest blend |
| 1 lb. | Diced boneless, skinless chicken, uncooked |
| ¼ cup | Water |
| 2 tsp. | Mesquite seasonings |
| 4 (10 inch) | Tortillas |
| 1 cup | Monterey jack or cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions
- Heat a frying pan and oil over medium-high heat. Add southwest blend and chicken to skillet. Sauté until chicken is no longer pink (about 4 minutes).
- Stir in water and seasonings. Continue stirring and cooking 3 to 4 minutes until chicken begins to brown.
- For each serving, portion about ¾ cup chicken mixture, and ¼ of cheese into center of tortilla and roll up. *For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
