Quick Beef Stew
Prepared with FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Classic Vegetables • Stew Vegetables
Ingredients
| ½ lb. | Beef stew meat, 1" pieces |
| 2 Tbsp. | Flour |
| 2 Tbsp. | Cooking oil |
| 2 cups | Water, cold |
| 2 pkgs. (.87 oz.) | Brown gravy mix, |
| 1 tsp. | Worchestershire sauce |
| 1 ea. | Bay leaf |
| 16 oz. | Stew Vegetables |
Directions
- Place beef and flour in a plastic bac and shake to coat meat.
- Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add water, gravy mix, worchestershire sauce, and bay leaf and stir.
- Add frozen vegetables and heat to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
