Quick Beef Stew

Prepared with FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Classic Vegetables • Stew Vegetables

Ingredients

½ lb.Beef stew meat, 1" pieces
2 Tbsp.Flour
2 Tbsp.Cooking oil
2 cupsWater, cold
2 pkgs. (.87 oz.)Brown gravy mix,
1 tsp.Worchestershire sauce
1 ea.Bay leaf
16 oz.Stew Vegetables

Directions

  1. Place beef and flour in a plastic bac and shake to coat meat.
  2. Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add water, gravy mix, worchestershire sauce, and bay leaf and stir.
  4. Add frozen vegetables and heat to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
