Brussels Sprouts with Almonds and Bread Crumb
Prepared with FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Premium Vegetables • Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
| 16 oz. | Brussels Sprouts |
| ½ cup | Milk |
| ⅓ cup | Seasoned bread crumbs |
| 3 Tbsp. | Parmesan cheese, grated |
| 2 Tbsp. | Almonds, chopped |
| 1 Tbsp. | Olive oil |
Directions
- In a saucepan heat milk to a simmer. Add brussels sprouts, cover and cook for 7-9 minutes or until heated through; drain.
- In a bowl combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, almonds and oil.
- Place hot brussels sprouts in buttered casserole dish; sprinkle with bread crumb topping and place under broiler for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve.
