Brussels Sprouts with Almonds and Bread Crumb

Prepared with FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Premium Vegetables • Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

16 oz.Brussels Sprouts
½ cupMilk
⅓ cupSeasoned bread crumbs
3 Tbsp.Parmesan cheese, grated
2 Tbsp.Almonds, chopped
1 Tbsp.Olive oil

Directions

  1. In a saucepan heat milk to a simmer. Add brussels sprouts, cover and cook for 7-9 minutes or until heated through; drain.
  2. In a bowl combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, almonds and oil.
  3. Place hot brussels sprouts in buttered casserole dish; sprinkle with bread crumb topping and place under broiler for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve.
