Louisiana Style Vegetable Soup
Prepared with FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Classic Vegetables • Vegetable Soup Mix
Ingredients
| 2 Tbsp. | Vegetable oil |
| 4 Tbsp. | Flour |
| 2 tsp. | Garlic, minced |
| ½ lb. | Kielbasa sausage, cut into half round slices |
| 2 cans (14 oz.) | Chicken broth |
| 1 tsp. | Cajun seasonings |
| 16 oz. | Vegetable Soup Mix |
Directions
- In a heavy pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add flour; cook and stir until flour turns golden brown.
- Add garlic and sausage; cook 2 minutes stirring constantly.
- Stir in chicken broth and cajun seasonings; mix well. Add vegetables and heat to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
