Simple Spanish Rice
Prepared with our FLAV-R-PAC® or WESTPAC® Meal Basic™ Southwest Blend
Ingredients
| 1 (14.75 oz) can | Chicken broth |
| 2 cups | Southwest Blend |
| 1 cup | Long grain rice, uncooked |
| 2 tsp. | Chili powder |
| 1 tsp. | Ground cumin |
| ½ tsp. | Salt |
Directions
- In medium saucepan, bring broth and Southwest Blend to a boil.
- Stir in rice and seasonings; return to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork; serve.
