Preparation
For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
Stove Top
Bring 3/4 cup of water and frozen vegetables to boil in a 3 quart saucepan. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 7-9 minutes or until product is tender and thoroughly heated. Season and serve.
Pressureless Steamer
Place frozen vegetables into a perforated steam table pan. Do not add water or cover. Steam product in a pressureless steamer for 4-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
Microwave
Place 16 ounces of vegetables in 1 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole dish. Add 3 tablespoons of water, cover and cook for 4-6 minutes. Stir halfway during cooking time. Allow to stand for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
Note: Microwave cooking times may vary, depending on the particular oven used. Follow manufacturer's instructions.
Storage
Store at or below 0ºF (-18°F) or store in freezer compartment of the refrigerator.
