Preparation

For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.

Stove Top
Bring 1/3 cup water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Add 16 ounces of vegetables. Return to boil. Reduce to medium, cover and boil gently for 4-5 minutes or until tender. Stir once during cooking time. Avoid overcooking. Serve immediately.

Pressureless Steamer
Place frozen vegetables into a perforated steam table pan. Do not add water or cover. Steam product in a pressureless steamer for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

Microwave
Place 16 ounces of vegetables in 1 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole dish. Add 1/3 cup water, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Stir halfway during cooking time. Allow to stand for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
