STOVE TOP:
Bring 1 cup water and frozen vegetables to a boil in a 3 quart sauce pan. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 6-8 minutes until product is tender and thoroughly heated. Season and serve.
MICROWAVE:
Place frozen vegetables and 2 Tbsp. water into a microwave safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 minutes or until product is thoroughly heated. Stir halfway through cooking time. Season and serve. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
PRESSURELESS STEAMER:
Place vegetables in a perforated ½ steamtable pan. Do not add water or cover. Steam product in a preheated pressureless steamer for 4-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
Store at or below 0ºF (-18°F) or store in freezer compartment of the refrigerator.

CREAMY SIGNATURE PEA SALAD
Blanch and chill frozen peas; combine peas with diced red onion, cucumber, finely chopped mint or pasley, and sour cream. Toss ingredients to combine. Serve pea salad on lettuce leaves or on a lettuce cup for a great sandwich side salad.
PASTA WITH PEAS, PESTO AND SHAVED PARMESAN CHEESE
Toss hot peas in pesto sauce and place on top of hot wide egg noodles. Sprinkle the top with shaved pieces of parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper.
GREEN PEA SOUP WITH ROSEMARY
Sauté chopped leeks, celery and fresh rosemary in olive oil over medium heat until soft and translucent. Add frozen peas, diced potatoes, and chicken broth; bring mixture to a boil. Tunn down heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and blend soup in food processor until smooth. Return to pot, season with salt and white pepper. Serve soup in warm bowls with a dollop of sour cream and a garnish of fresh parsley and rosemary.
MEXICAN PEAS AND CHEDDAR CHEESE
Blanch and chill frozen peas. Combine peas with sour cream seasoned with garlic, chili powder, and shredded cheddar cheese for Mexican spiced peas.
SEAFOOD SIDE DISH OF GINGERED PEAS AND ONIONS
As a refreshing side dish for seafood entree, sauté onions and minced ginger until golden brown. Add frozen peas and continue to cook until peas are hot; season with salt and pepper.
