STOVE TOP:
Bring 1 cup water and frozen vegetables to a boil in a 3 quart sauce pan. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 7-9 minutes until product is tender and thoroughly heated. Season and serve.
MICROWAVE:
Place frozen vegetables and 2 Tbsp. water into a microwave safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 minutes or until product is thoroughly heated. Stir halfway through cooking time. Season and serve. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
PRESSURELESS STEAMER:
Place vegetables in a perforated ½ steamtable pan. Do not add water or cover. Steam product in a preheated pressureless steamer for 4-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165°F.
Store at or below 0ºF (-18°F) or store in freezer compartment of the refrigerator.

PEAS & CARROTS WITH DILL BUTTER
Steam frozen or thawed peas & carrots until cooked. Drizzle with melted dill butter made from combining soft butter with chopped fresh dill.
PEAS & CARROTS FOR SOUPS, STEWS AND CHOWDERS
Enhance flavor and add color to corn chowder, creamy potato soup, or homemade beef stew with peas & carrots; just add frozen peas & carrots to mixture during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
LEMONY PEAS & CARROTS
Sauté frozen peas and carrots in a little butter, garlic and chopped shallots (or onions) until cooked through. Drizzle with fresh squeezed lemon juice, chopped parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
GLAZED PEAS & CARROTS
Steam peas & carrots for 6-8 minutes; toss with honey and chopped fresh min and parsley.
