Pork Chops Scandinavian

Ingredients

6 oz.Vegetable oil
10 oz.Fresh ginger, minced
3 qts.Orange juice
½ cupCornstarch
½ cupOrange zest
2 Tbs.Salt
1 Tbs.Pepper
24 lbs.FLAV-R-PAC Scandinavian Vegetables
9 ½ lbs.Center cut pork chops, cut 1 ½" ; thick, c

Directions

  1. In stock pot, heat oil and ginger for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. In bowl, combine orange juice, cornstarch, orange zest, salt and pepper; stir to dissolve cornstarch. Add to ginger and bring to a simmer; cook 3 to 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Add Scandinavian Vegetables; gently stir and cook until vegetables are heated through.
  4. To serve: plate pork chop and spoon 4 ounces glazed Scandinavian Vegetables over the top. Serving tip: serve over sliced ham steaks or sliced roasted turkey.
